Lynda will always try to take on a few commissions a year as she works through her personal oil studies series. There was a time, when the artist only worked on commissions. And she is thankful for so many who choose her to do their special painting(s) for them and their loved ones.
If you would like to inquire about a commission, send Lynda an email by clicking the button below.

I Commissioned, Lynda to Paint a picture for me, of a puppy my mother and father adored, who unfortunately they had to put down because he had cancer.
Lynda had provided a digital picture of what the painting would look like before starting the painting for approval or changes.
Lynda had the painting done with in a reasonable time frame, with out changes needing to be made.
Lynda was very reasonably priced and delivered to me a painting of a perfection. (looked exactly like the picture as requested).
Once the painting had been delivered I had the painting shipped to Tennessee via UPS. The painting was delivered before Christmas with no damages.
To which my parents opened this painting Christmas morning. They were extremely touched by the work, the thought and the likeness of their beloved puppy.
My mother stated my father shed tears seeing the painting ( as this was his puppy). She also stated that there was a few times Christmas day, where they would get choked up seeing his face around the house again.
Thank You Lynda, for the beautiful work you do. With your help My parents have their Mac back.
Thank you Lynda Irene Moffatt, for taking my vision and painting it into reality! It is far greater than I dreamed of, You are Amazing,

When I approached Lynda about designing a painting for my boyfriend, she was more than excited to start this project with me.
I already had an idea in my head of what I was looking for. When I started describing to Lynda what I wanted she knew exactly what I needed from her. Lynda did more than just paint an amazing portrait of Tom Brady, she also took me step by step with her and taught me a side of painting and art that I have never seen or felt before.
Lynda was easy to work with and she had so many amazing tips and ideas for the painting. She took my ideas and made them more extravagant. This portrait turned out better than I could have ever imagined. It also created a beautiful friendship.
I would recommend anyone to work with Lynda! She created such an amazing piece of art.
I could not believe how talented and understanding someone could be.
I could not thank her enough for what she did for me and my boyfriend.
Thank you Lynda from the bottom of my heart for being an amazing and beautiful person. You have honestly created a once in a life time portrait! No one can do what you can.
xoxo - Randi Hoglund
I am currently taking on a very limited number of private commissions each year.
The following information should answer a few of your initial questions on original artwork commissions.
What is the initial process of the work?
We start with a discussion of the painting regarding, the details and what you are looking for and the vision we collaborate. We work together to decide, the season, composition, colours, etc. If the subject is in the local area, we can spend some time and take photos or you can send me the photo you want painted, with any special instructions you may have.
You can always text me or give me a call at my home/studio 519.350.0485.
How Long will the painting take to do?
I paint everyday, on my current ongoing projects.
I specifically, block out your time for you and paint only for you during this time. We can determine a time of delivery date together to allow 6-8 weeks.
I paint in oils and this allows the layers to dry nicely in between, giving you the best quality painting!
Please, plan ahead if you are giving a painting as a present over the Holidays and possibly shipping it.
The shipping would be your responsiblity.
You are probably pretty familiar with my work, if you are here on my website.
As an artist, my goal is to translate what I see, feel & experience into your painting, expressively through paint.
My work is my unique voice, colourful, deep, rich, expressive. I am not your drafter, drawer of each item on the page type of artist. I allow the mind to fill in what isn't there and am very much a Trompe L'Oile type of artist. I love making a 2 dimensional object look 3 dimensional.
I am certain, we will be able to paint what you are looking for!
